# Voice and Content Context

Use this document when an AI needs to understand what you believe, what you can credibly teach, and how your content should sound.

Replace the bracketed instructions with your own material. Use published work, transcripts, notes, client questions, and direct experience as evidence. A few real samples are more useful than a long list of generic adjectives.

## Purpose of the content

- **Why I create content:** [The useful change you want to create for the reader]
- **What I want to be known for:** [Topics, methods, or questions you want associated with your work]
- **What the content should help someone do:** [Understand, decide, try, avoid, or change]
- **Relationship to my offer:** [How free content and the offer connect]
- **Primary next action:** [The usual next step when one is appropriate]

## Point of view

- **What I believe about the problem:** [Your working belief]
- **What I believe about the solution:** [Your working belief]

## Content territory

- **Processes I can teach:** [Workflows you have used or verified]
- **Stories I can tell:** [Experiences you have permission to share]
- **Evidence I can show:** [Artifacts, examples, demonstrations, or source material]
- **Topics I will not cover:** [Outside scope, private, unsafe, or unsupported]

## Voice

- **Three real writing or speaking samples:**
  1. [Link or pasted sample]
  2. [Link or pasted sample]
  3. [Link or pasted sample]
- **Natural sentence rhythm:** [Short, conversational, explanatory, reflective, or another observed pattern]
- **Words and phrases I use:** [Real examples]
- **Words and phrases I avoid:** [Real examples]
- **Level of technical detail:** [What the audience can follow and what needs translation]
- **Tone by channel:** [How a guide, email, social post, or video should differ]

## Quality standard

Content should:

- teach one useful idea to one specific reader;
- explain the mechanism behind the advice;
- use evidence, experience, or a clearly labeled hypothesis;
- say what the reader can do with the idea;
- preserve uncertainty where the source is incomplete; and
- sound consistent with the supplied samples.

Content should not:

- invent stories, quotes, statistics, customer results, or certainty;
- repeat generic advice without adding a specific point of view;
- use fear or shame to force action;
- turn every idea into a pitch; or
- copy another creator's wording or structure too closely.

## Content idea sources

Mine ideas from:

- repeated audience questions;
- mistakes or failed approaches you can explain;
- decisions your audience struggles to make;
- corrections you give more than once;
- stories that changed how you think;
- parts of your method people misunderstand;
- evidence that supports or complicates your point of view; and
- open questions worth exploring honestly.

## Boundaries for AI

- Keep source facts separate from inference.
- Ask before using sensitive client, employee, or personal material.
- Do not imitate the style of a living creator.
- When voice evidence is thin, draft plainly and flag the need for better samples.
